Exposure map

Exposure map.

Where do the credit funds meet in the same borrower?

The credit funds' own portfolio reports, compared on one common date. A relationship is shown only when a filed identifier links two funds: the same legal-entity identifier (LEI) means the same issuer, and the same CUSIP means the same instrument. A shared issuer is not a shared loan, so the two are listed apart. Every row opens its sources.

The map reads each credit fund's own portfolio report and lines the funds up on one common date. It lists the borrowers two or more funds hold, identified by the codes the funds file, and keeps two kinds of relationship apart:

  • Same issuer (by LEI). The funds lend to the same legal entity, perhaps through different loans.
  • Same instrument (by CUSIP). The funds hold the same security.

Each row opens the reports behind it: the fund, the legal entity, the report date and a link to the filing. Positions a fund files without an identifier are counted, and their relationships are shown as unknown rather than as none.

Illustration, not real holdings. The names and amounts below are invented to show the layout.
